The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum is proud to be a 2023 Blue Star Museum! Admission to the museum is free for currently-serving U.S. military personnel and their families this summer. The 2024 program will begin on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 18, 2024, and end on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2024.
In honor of Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month- Join us at 6:00 p.m. on May 21, 2024, for a special screening of the documentary "To Climb a Gold Mountain," followed by a Q&A with director Alex Azmi. The documentary "To Climb a Gold Mountain" follows the lives of three Asian women in America from the 1850s to the present. The women, from diverse backgrounds, experienced varying levels of success and challenges. Their stories represent themes of struggle and triumph, showcasing the evolution of Asian immigrants integrating into American society.
Join us Tuesday, May 14, 20204 at 6:00 p.m. in Theatre 37 of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum for a free public event. Dr. Edward Chang, Founding Director of the Young Oak Kim Center for Korean American Studies at the University of Riverside, discussing his book "Pachappa Camp: The First Koreatown in the United States"
